I booked my stay about a month before I visited Rome. I booked with Booking.com and this meant that I paid with the Guesthouse when I got there. I messaged the lady/owner (Valentina) several times before I arrived as this was my first time travelling alone. She was very reassuring and spoke English, which was helpful! I wasn't sure how long I would take to get to the place, as Valentina had to be there to greet you and explain and answer any questions you'd have. Valentina was very reassuring and she WhatsApp-ed me to let me know that she was there and looking out for me. She was kind, friendly and welcoming. There are six keys that she gives you, including your room key, a safe in your room key, and several external doors to get into the building. It was easy then to go to and fro as I wanted. The room was stylish, clean and wasn't muggy or hot. You have a small bathroom with a sliding door and plenty of shelves in front of the mirror to put your toiletries. There's a hairdryer in the room, fresh towels every three days, the room gets tided/cleaned everyday at 1100. I was very pleased with this guesthouse and I would defiantly stay here again if/when I visit Rome again. I would defiantly recommend for a solo traveller who wants to be independent but reassured. This place is less than a five minute walk to the Vatican Museums entrance, about a five minute walk to the nearest Metro stop (Ottaviano). There are also of plenty of restaurants less than a five minute walk away. I am a Coeliac (Gluten Free/Senza Glutine) so it’s not far from La Soffitta Renovatio – great restaurant for Gluten Free!

First of all, it’s a very good place to stay in if you want to be close to everything! Dejavu Room is 5 minutes walking from San Pietro - Vatican, and 7 minutes walking from Ottaviano subway station. Near Dejavu Room there are many places to eat and drink and across the street is a parking garage. There is also a supermarket 1 minute walking from here. What you have to know is that you’ll get 6 keys- 2 for the main gates , 1 for entrance in the building, 1 for opening the door for the reception, 1 for your room and 1 for safe. That’s pretty confusing at the beginning, but you’ll get used to it. What is a really big disadvantage is the fact that the keys from the main gates aren’t working from the outside every time. We didn’t have breakfast- the owner didn’t even mention anything about breakfast. The people working there are kind. We had towels changed every 3 days, also the sheets, but everyday someone came to clean the room and make the bed. Moreover, you have to know that there are 4 rooms at this B&B, which means you’ll have more or less friendly and quiet neighbours. The room looks exactly like in the pictures. We stayed in room 102 which was a big bedroom with a really small bathroom- but it has everything you’ll need. What is really creepy is the fact that the TV was turned on when we came back in the room, we thought somebody came in, but then in another day, we were in the room and the TV turned on randomly without anyone touching the controller. In conclusion, the room is a great one, with big windows and it has all the facilities you’ll need! We’ll be back!

A primo sguardo camera e bagno ben arredati. Il tempo di iniziare a viverla e subito si notano le usure sopratutto nel bagno. Andrebbe fatta un pó di manutenzione. Ottima posizione, a due minuti dalla metro Ottaviano. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. No colazione ma thè è dolcini offerti. Tutto sommato niente male.
